How Do I Manage POS Passwords on the Backoffice?

Updated over 9 months ago

Managing your POS passwords is a straightforward process through the backoffice, but only administrators have the permissions to make these changes. Follow these steps to update the operational password for all terminals logged into a specific store:

Steps to Update Your POS Terminal Passwords:

  1. Access the Backoffice: Log in using your admin credentials.

  2. Navigate to Settings: Go to the Settings menu.

  3. Select the Store: In Settings, choose Stores, then select the store for which you want to update the terminal passwords.

  4. Update the Password: Within the store settings, find the Operational Password field and enter the new password. This change will apply to all terminals logged in at that store.

Important Notes:

Admin Access Required: Only administrators can update terminal passwords in the backoffice. If you don't have admin rights, contact your system administrator.

Terminals May Reboot: After updating the operational password, terminals may need to reboot to apply the changes. Inform operators of this and ensure they have the correct login information ready to avoid disruptions.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and update your POS terminal passwords, ensuring secure access across your stores.
