How to Accept Payments Using Paybyrd

Getting started with Paybyrd is easy! Just follow these steps to begin accepting payments:

Step 1: Create Your Paybyrd Account

  • Sign up by providing your name and email address. To complete this step, please contact our team for assistance with account creation.

Step 2: Submit Your Business Information

  • After contacting us, we’ll send you an email requesting your business details, such as your business name, legal structure (e.g., sole proprietorship, LLC), and any additional required information.

Step 3: Review and Sign the Onboarding Contract

  • Once we’ve reviewed your business information, we’ll send you an onboarding contract for review.

  • Carefully review the contract, sign it, and return it to complete the setup process.

Step 4: Set Up a Test Environment

  • We’ll help you configure a test environment to ensure everything works seamlessly before going live. This can be customized based on your specific business needs.

Step 5: E-Commerce Setup (If applicable)

  • For online businesses, we’ll provide an API key to connect your website with Paybyrd’s payment system.

    • What is an API key? It’s a unique code that securely links your website to our payment gateway.

  • Follow our step-by-step instructions to integrate the API key into your e-commerce platform. Need assistance? Check out our API Integration Guide or reach out to our support team.

Step 6: Point-of-Sale (POS) Setup (If applicable)

  • For physical stores, we’ll send you a POS terminal.

    • How does it work? We’ll walk you through connecting the POS terminal to your existing system for smooth, in-store transactions.

  • If needed, our support team is available to help with installation.

Step 7: Start Accepting Payments!

  • Once your setup is complete and the test environment is running smoothly, you’re ready to accept payments, both online and in-store!
